Nobody likes to find spam or any unwanted emails in their inbox. They're simply a time waster. They cut into our workday and we'd obviously rather devote our time to reading messages that matter. The problem is however that so many business men need the customers email addresses so that they can tell them as much as they can about their goods and services. So what should an affiliate marketer do about this situation?

Even without spamming, the 3 following methods are sure to work perfectly.

1. Ignore spamming but always try to have a legitimate sign up box somewhere on your website. This gives the customer the option of agreeing or not to give you're their email address. You will need to give them an incentive for them to give you their email address.

The best way to do this as so many marketers do is by offering them free stuff. These could be newsletters, free software test trials or various articles. This will boost their trust in you and eventually want a relationship with your business.

2. Avoid spam but make sure that you purchase legitimate lists or email addresses from a reliable 3rd party. You will then have to make sure that you tell your potential client what you think to be a legitimate source gave you their email address.

Before you embark on emailing the potential clients make sure that you have cleared up with the contacts that the email addresses were legitimately acquired from a 3rd party business.

3. Ignore spamming but rather try to use email newsletters as your mode of advertising. There are a lot of professional looking templates that you can get on the internet for your business. Post a link for these newsletters either on your site or on that of another business that can be associated with yours.

The whole reason for this article is to show you that spamming has a negative impact on your online money making opportunity by turning off the potential client.
