Larry Bates Sued For Scams

In May, 2009, much to my shock, when I offered customers metal on behalf of Larry Bates and his business, FAMC, I discovered that I was involved with a dishonest man. After he took the clients' cash, he either took many months to deliver the goods or he didn't deliver them at all. When I finally became fully aware of this scam, I promptly resigned my position with FAMC.

Several customers and I then retained an attorney to assist us in getting our money back. Thank God, every person I sold to, with the help of my lawyer, received their precious metals-although, some didn't get them until the 29th day after the 30th day stipulated in the attorney's demand notice. Even today, he still owes me some money. This is not Christian conduct in my book.

People continually ask me about the status of the class-action law suit that was filed against Bates and FAMC late last year. As everyone understands, legal matters take time, so all I can say about it at this point is the suit is moving forward in the courts.

If there are any victims who have actually not gotten what they bought or who ended up with inferior items-- contact me. We will include you in the class-action suit.

Anybody who still needs to file a claim, please contact us as well. Also contact us if you experienced delays by Bates and his company-- for instance, if he refunded your costs but only after the precious metals that you had purchased dropped in value. We will add your name as a victim of his scams.

Those who have done business with my company, Unreported World News, have all received their metals in a timely manner and at a fair price.

Some of you may have seen the defamatory letter that Bates has been circulating about me. It is full of falsehoods. Why doesn't he just do just what is right, repent, and pay everybody he is obligated to repay?

Sadly, Bates and his radio and TV shows target many senior citizens who do not even have a computer so they cannot access the internet to research him before they buy from him. The least I could do is share my story.
