Far too many people are signing up to become slaves to their credit card companies. There is a teaching from my Bestselling book, Secrets of Jewish Wealth Revealed that I want to share. Proverbs tell us, "The borrower will become the slave to the lender." It makes no sense that someone would volunteer to be a slave, but that's exactly what's happening in the United States today.

In Egypt a Pharoah "that did not know Joseph" took power and started, step by step, limiting the rights of the Jews and thus diminishing their value.

The Egyptians forced the Jews to endure great hardships. They gave Jewish men very light jobs while they gave Jewish women backbreaking chores such as moving huge stones from one side of town to the other and back. The Jews had to endure this labor because they did not have an option. They performed the labor because they sensed that their status as slaves would define who they were rather than their connection to God.

So many people in our world allow their perception of how others see them to define their true selves. This is why people go to a Wedding and buy expensive gifts even when they cannot afford the new outfit, or go on a vacation with money they do not have. I:8:J

Debt sometimes starts with charging just a couple of extra dollars to our credit cards when we want something we can't afford to pay cash for. Before long, it might turn into a second mortgage on our house. Debt can kill our future and take our house with it. Similarly, God sent the Egyptians ten plagues that became increasingly harder, one after the other, starting with blood, and ending with the death of the first born.

You must keep the Pharaoh away from your credit cards by spending only the money you have, not the money you don't. This is what I really call priceless.

End the American Excess and Master your Cards, but don't let them master you!!!

For forty years as the Israelites crossed the desert in search of the promised land, they developed the concept of prayer, charity, and love for the stranger.

Let me share a simple truth that I expose in my book Secrets of Jewish Wealth Revealed! How could a group of slaves have acquired such a sophisticated society?

The answer is, by partnering with God.

You might not know this, but God wants to partner with us. Have you heard of the universal principal of receiving? This principal is simply that in order to receive, you have to share. According to the Sages, an act of charity has the ability to change even a negative heavenly decree. Charity is not just meant to improve the world and those around you. It may surprise you to learn that it mostly serves to make US better.

This is the secret of how the Jewish people have created a hedge against chaos in their partnership with God. Sharing creates room in your life for more blessings to come in. Giving creates an endless circuit. You earn, you give, and then you earn more.

There is a clear and powerful way to protect the wealth you have, and bring even more wealth into your life. It's called tithing. Tithing means giving away 10 to 20 percent of your net earnings. The Jewish people have been practicing tithing since Biblical times. When we give away at least 10 percent of everything that we earn, in essence we perform an act of purification, cleansing all of the negative energy that our money carries. We remove just a small portion - the 10 percent of the earnings that represent and will create obstacles and challenges in our lives.

Then by donating these funds to charities, to scholarships, to religious organizations, or to some anonymous stranger in need, we transform our earnings into elevated levels of spiritual energy, allowing us to emulate God in the creation of a better world. Only when we do this is the remaining 90 percent of our wealth infused with true blessings, completing the circuit so that we can go out and earn again.

Once you begin the process of giving, you will no longer will waste your money. Through tithing, The Lord permits us to redeem our good fortune and continue increasing into prosperity. Tithing actually creates a realm in which your wealth is protected.

Surely, by entering the cycle of sharing you are giving an injection of power to your soul, and creating the road of financial independence ahead of you with kindness.

As I have said in my book, Secrets of Jewish Wealth Revealed, there is no question that we the Jewish People know how to negotiate.

The Jews have a special ability to negotiate that is like no other. Why is negotiating so important? Negotiating is important because everything thing that we say and do with others can be seen as a negotiation. If you do not recognize that many of your daily interactions are actually opportunities to negotiate, then you are already losing out on many opportunities.

Around the world, negotiating is seen as normal part of daily life and a common practice. How often have I seen a tourist overpaying for a souvenir to the surprise of the street vendor. People are used to paying what they are asked.

Just like those tourists, you might feel overwhelmed. But that is the wrong technique. After all, you earn your money and you want to stretch it. Clearly there are places where you can not negotiate such as fast food restaurants or gas stations. But you should not pass the opportunities when they present themselves.

One of the rules of negotiating is that it should be done face to face whenever possible. For example, if I make an offer on a house, I want go along with the realtor to present the offer to the owner in person.

Negotiation is a give-and-take process, but being in control of the process is the only way to be successful at it.

Always act uninterested and know when to walk out of the negotiation.

It is always great to remember that many other Biblical figures were great negotiators. Lot negotiated on behalf of the Three Angels, and Moses negotiated with God (over and over again) on behalf of the Israelites. So did Abraham. If they could negotiate, why shouldn't we?
